Filmed over four years, 'Home Sweet Home' (90min, 2012) brings out the drama of a massive regeneration scheme unfolding in the heart of London. The film is also a personal journey of discovery in the city the filmmaker chose as her home 20 years ago.
Centred around the now demolished Heygate Estate in Southwark, 'Home Sweet Home' tells a complex but intimate story of urban and social transformation, and asks: what kind of society are we building?
